CLEMSON – Clemson University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute has a new home because of a gift from the son of a former student and his family.
“We have been cramped for some time now,” said Amanda Turner, project coordinator for the institute. During the next few weeks, plans are to move the institute’s offices from Lehotsky Hall on the Clemson campus to the new building in Clemson’s Patrick Square neighborhood, Turner said. The late Charles K Cheezem, Clemson Class of 1944, was honored last week during a ribbon cutting making the Charles K. Cheezem Education Center the new home of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program in Clemson.
