The EarthCraft House program is a voluntary green building program, which serves as a blueprint for healthy, comfortable homes that respect and protect the environment and help save utility costs (with an average 28-percent greater energy efficiency rating than typical new homes). EarthCraft communities must undergo a rigorous certification process that includes strict building guidelines, builder training and goal-oriented charrettes. EarthCraft-certified communities lead the way in a new environmentally sound way of living. Patrick Square is one of the first communities in South Carolina to make this commitment.
