Fright Night in the Square

It’s Halloween! And for many people, that means dressing up in costumes, taking the kids trick-or-treating, attending parties, and eating too much candy.

No matter what your preference, everyone wants to have a fun and safe Halloween. And, Patrick Square is a great neighborhood for all ages to celebrate the holiday without fear.

Families with young trick-or-treaters will love what we have to offer. They will find plenty of well-lit sidewalks in a nice, walkable, and safe neighborhood. Our community also has much less traffic than you will find in other areas, reducing the danger posed by speeding or careless motorists.

Teenagers, young adults and anyone looking for a little more adventure may want to participate in the Clemson Z Run. This 4k, zombie-infested obstacle course starts in adjacent Nettles Park, crosses the bridge into Patrick Square, and winds back into the park. All of the proceeds go to help local charities, and all who participate will have a ghoulishly good time. The apocalypse takes place the night before Halloween, so it will not interfere with the young children trick-or-treating.

Adults looking for a quiet evening away from the costume-clad crowd should consider Rick Erwin’s in the Patrick Square Town Center. It’s a great place to have a nice dinner or just meet some friends for a drink at the bar. Bloody Mary, anyone?
